Sorry its been a while! I have been very busy with finals and such. One more final to go! and the last one is my speech final. I am giving a presentation on farmers markets and heres a picture from my project.

Cultural differences.

During my stay in finland, i found a cultural difference. Finnish people dont like when boys pee on the floor. I was at first shocked by this difference, but after a while you learn to accept such things.
Here is a sign my house mom made during the summer...In the family there was 2 strapping young boys. I was the young buck au paire. I never figured out though who this sign was referring to. I wanted to show this as proof that finns may have a sense of humor, or they hate pee on the floor. I cant really decide which.

I'm sorry i did not post yesterday, i fell asleep earlier than usual, so that is the reason there are 2 posts today. also, a fellow sibling of mine has asked for a photograph for their computer background. I decided on this photo because i feel that all desktop backgrounds should have a road and a line of trees.

Because I have 2 choir concerts coming up, I thought I would post this picture. This is a Girls Choir of Tampere, Finland.

Thanksgiving Parade

Here are all the floats that we saw anyways at the thanksgiving parade.

Octopus float: probably the most cool, you can spin it pretty easily too.

Captain Underpants: Lame. whoever designed this had good intentions but overall the functionality is poor. You only need to look at his toes which have been scraped or its fungus i don't know which, but it looks gross.

Rainbowfish: touching story about a shiny scale if i remember correctly. Floatable? nay. Not enough air, didn't spin. also it was too high and all i ever saw was its bottom.

Penguin: a parade classic. one of my favorites.

Safety Patrolman: Worst float idea ever. it does kind of grow on you though.

Dragon: Overall pretty bad. the ArtVan logo on the chest doesn't help things either.

Dancing Cop: This is not a float. But it is worthy of any Parade entry. good moves, good personality, this dancing cop is one that all parades should strive to have.

Here is a photo of my school last year Jämsän Kr. Kansanopisto. The shot is taken from quite far away on a hill which makes for good panorama's.

This is the beginning of a photo journal i am keeping. I will try and write some things also but mostly i will leave pictures. This picture for example was taken in Germany last year.
